Have you ever finished reading a book of the Bible (ahem… minor prophets) and wondered what on earth you just read and who this message was for? This set of cards will help you as you read to make connections with the context of the original audience. Each card (1 for each of the 66 books) includes the following:

• The author

• Details about when the book was written and to whom

• Three key truths gleaned from the book

• Where we the book pointing to Jesus and the good news of the gospel

• A reflection question to help you apply the book’s message to your life

Use these as you read through the Bible to help you better identify where you are in the grand narrative, use them around the dinner table to establish a working knowledge of each book of the Bible, or review them every few weeks to keep the overviews of each book top-of-mind so that you can apply these concepts in your personal time with the Lord.
