I asked Dan:

What's the best thing about being a dad

Dan said he loves watching their wheels turn as they begin to understand big truths and just loves getting to be with his kids and watching them grow.

Can you believe that God entrusts us kids to raise and love? Seriously. I just wish I had a manual. Or training program.

Big Question: How Are We Made in God's Image?

God spoke all creation into existence, and then humans were sculpted by God from the ground. Throughout history, kings and leaders have put their image on things to show their importance. God has made us image-bearers of His. He has given us responsibilities to rule over the world, to reflect Him in the way that we relate to others, and in the way that we are logical, etc.

You are created in God's image. You have purpose. You have meaning. And this is true of every single person.

The image of God is still fully represented in humanity.

When we view others as being made in the image of God, we will respect one another, love one another, and there won't be problems with violence, racial tensions, or

God, in Christ, makes us capable of being the reflection of God because Jesus is the fullest image of God. Jesus is the fullest example of what humanity should be.

What's the best parenting advice you've ever received?

God is filling in the gaps. We will fail and sin, but God is the perfect parent. It's important that our kids see us desperate for Jesus on our knees.
